If you think there is enough in the market to juggle your head while deciding a phone, Bonjour to Bleu, a new brand of phones launched by French company Segam. It is bulk of more than 30 different GSM phones, not so different in features when compared to existing phones. Even the price range is thinly margined for some odd reason.
So what's the fancy? Bleu has managed to add some exiting features to its basic phones at a price which is really affordable. In addition they are slim and light weighted giving them an elite look. You can get Sagem Bleu 355x with GPRS, EMS, MP3 player and support, USB port, a talk time of 5 hrs at a price of 2599 only. If this is hard to digest then what would you say about Sagem 351x with MP3 player, USB port and 128 MB memory card that's price has slashed to 1900. Music lovers with light pockets would surely love it.
Talking about high ranging phones, although Bleu phones seem to give value for money, its not that there are no exiting brands to match it. Like for instance Sagem Bleu 670z priced at 7799/- faces stiff competition from Nokia N72 priced at 7100 (approx) which is much better in features, quality and price. In addition it has stronger brand recognition. Then there are closely priced phones like Bleu 460x and Bleu 471x with no emphasis given on product differentiation. Even the overall range lacks feature prominence that can hinder Bleu's brand identification among other GSM phones.
All in all Sagem with Bleu is again aiming at lower and middle section of society. The company promises quality with most phones carrying 1-year warranty but it is only the consumer usage that would bring out the actual. Phone TV Watch are no doubt here to stay but others have pretty much failed to break the trail. Thus they are no match to already exiting phone giants.
